The Art Of Advertising Exhibition

The Whole of May

CAMP HILL ANTIQUE CENTRE enters the world of Madmen with this major exhibition of print advertising from the Twentieth Century.

Before television, printed display ads created as posters, flyers, magazine and newspaper copy were the stock in trade of the new profession of advertising.

We are excited to have renowned collector Londoner Roy Sims displaying an exciting selection of pieces in this exhibition. Roy has been collecting advertising print, movie day-bills, trade and brand advertising for decades staring in his hometown of London and his range is huge. From luxury brands Channel, Vuitton and Bally, WW2 propaganda, classic Coke a Cola, alcohol and tobacco brands, through the swinging sixties, old fuel and car brands, this collection is an entertaining look at how post war west culture was boxed up and sold.

A must see. These items make wonderful art for your home and great talking pieces for gifts.

All items in the exhibition are for sale
